Weaving a tapestry for a love affair that lasts two lifetimes for the same person did have its challenges. Add in a twist involving a love triangle travelling the same path and it becomes even more complicated.
The goal was to keep the magic of the concept intact while at the same time ensuring it remained believable to the reader. On several occasions I caught myself asking, "Could this actually happen?"
Connect stretches the elastic to a point just before it breaks to hold the imagination of the reader. Too far -- it would have snapped and become a supernatural fantasy.

Half way through the outline, I knew this wasn't just another love story. The initial story premise about second chances became too thin. What transpired is an original concept that explores the often destructive relationship between desire and fate that can be found in each of us.
